The global marketplace has changed considerably in the past few years, especially for the translation industry. Argentina has become one of the leading countries that provide translation services, due mainly to the excellent professionals produced by its universities. Cordoba is home to the School of Languages, National University of Cordoba, which offers a five-year course of studies in translation. The School of Languages is known worldwide for the solid education its students receive. Its many graduates have become a great pool of translators for agencies and language companies to draw on when they offer their products and services to the local market.

IMTT have been organizing training events for language service professionals and business owners since 1999.
